Photos, videos and files from your iPhone to a Windows PC or an Android phone. The other device just opens a page in its browser.
How do I send files from an iPhone to a PC without AirDrop?
Open Hop and tap Start. On the PC, open any browser and type the address Hop shows (for example 192.168.1.42:8080), then the 4-digit code. Add photos or files on the iPhone: they appear on the page, ready to download. Drop files on the page to send them to the iPhone.
And to an Android phone?
Tap "QR code" in Hop and scan it with the Android phone's camera. Enter the code. That's it.
The page does not open
Both devices must be on the same Wi-Fi, and the address must start with http:// (not https). Guest and hotel Wi-Fi often stop devices from seeing each other: turn on the iPhone's Personal Hotspot and connect the PC to it instead.
My PC can't open iPhone photos (HEIC)
Hop converts them to JPEG while sending (Settings › Send iPhone photos as JPEG, on by default).
Is it private?
Yes. Files go directly from one device to the other on your network. Hop has no server, no account and collects nothing.

Envoyer des fichiers d'un iPhone vers un PC sans AirDrop : lance Hop, touche Commencer, puis sur le PC ouvre le navigateur et tape l'adresse affichée et le code à 4 chiffres. Pour un Android, scanne le QR code. Les deux appareils doivent être sur le même Wi-Fi (sinon, partage de connexion de l'iPhone).
